Today's Topic : Moderation vs Fundamental

Just Food for Thought.

This is not the symbol of Islam.
Never it is a symbol of Islam.
It's just a Legend of the Structure that indicates it's a Mosque.
Lemme share with you this.

I'm not just showing you a Turkey picture for nothing.
Please go find how the Flag of Turkey looks like.
Read up a bit of History, and you'll know why Islam and Turkey has such similarity.
(Pardon me, I heard about this.)
(and History-wise, on the surface, I know a rough bit only.)

How do you define someone by his profession?
For instances, let's take a carpenter.
Everyone knows what a carpenter does right?
Well, he uses wood to make stuffs - i.e. Chair, Furniture.

Can you address someone who has ample knowledge about carpentry - A carpenter?
Well, partly, yes.

Can you address someone who has ample knowledge about carpentry...
WITHOUT performing carpentry once - A carpenter?
Of course, No.

Someone with the knowledge, but without the skill, isn't something he is professional about.
He or She must at least perform and perform it well enough before he could confirm his profession.

Knowing about Carpeting MODERATELY
VS
Knowing about Carpeting FUNDAMENTALLY

Who would you ask to help you with your furniture?
Someone who knows Carpeting Moderately?
Or someone who knows Carpeting Fundamentally?

The answer is clear.

It brings to my actual topic for today.

The 9-11 Event.
But it's not about this event I wanna talk about.

It's...

Osama Bin Laden.

He's not a fundamentalist of Islam.
Islam is a Religion of Moderation.
While he, embraces Islam and knows Islam MODERATELY.

Every Muslim shouldn't learn Moderated Islam.
But they should learn Islam for Moderation.

Again, how do you define someone's profession?

Someone who have knowledge and have performed the skill professionally.

Now, how do you define someone who is a Muslim?

By doing his 5 times prayer, Don't do the Harams etc.

How do you define someone who is a Buddhist?

Obviously not because he is born a Buddhist.
He goes to temple, pray to the Buddha.

(Enough examples I suppose.)

Most importantly, is whether you have a sincere heart and a strong Iman (Faith) towards your God.

Yes, we should seek moderation in most things in life.

But when it comes to learning....
Don't be moderate, be a Fundamentalist.
