Today's Topic : Family

Photobucket

When I decided to embrace Islam.
I told my parents.
And my father told me this.
Because he's a businessman outside, it will affect his name.
And my decision on my Religion will cause racial discrimination.
Between Chinese and Malays.
He said that I should decide my Religion later on in life.
Like after I have a spouse.
Or a job.
And of course, after a family.
Simply put it, when I'm old enough to do so.

By converting to a Muslim, I'm giving restrictions to myself.
I can't do the Haram (the Forbidden), like drinking alcohol.
And of course, I could only marry to Muslim lady/ladies.
Isn't it dumb that you restrict yourself this way?

Like what I've been trying to say here, Islam is a religion of Peace.
Islam is the way of life.
There's a lot of reasons why we can't do the Harams.

Let's take Drinking an example on why Muslim can't drink.
Drinking is an addictive consuming product.
Some may not like it, but some may get hooked to it.
As a result, drinking can cause many unhappy matters.
Drinking alcohol is simply drinking small dosage of poisons.
People usually drink in clubs/pubs wherever.
You might not know when and when someone might intoxicate your drink.
It can make one drunk, or make one terribly Knocked Out.
It harms not only your health, but the people around you.
You might even commit adultery without any coincious.

Prevention is always better than Cure.
If you ain't drinking, you're giving people and yourself, Peace.

And back to the topic...
On the surface...
I could only marry to Muslim lady/ladies.
The reason is that, if a family shares the same faith, the family will be strong.
If not, usually trival matters would occur.
BUT BUT BUT
Never convert on the accord of your companion who is a Muslim.
Convert on your own accord.
Change for yourself.

I've already started to think of my family, and my future wife.
By choosing my desired Religion, I've already done the best for my future.
Like any other man in the world, I would want my family to have these golds.
The gold of happiness, the gold of love, and the gold of Iman (Faith).
I want my family to be a Muslim Family.
I want the best for my family.

I wouldn't want to marry if my spouse isn't a Muslim.
And I won't start a family, if I don't have a Muslim companion.

Even if you and your spouse isn't a Muslim,
It's obviously better if both of you share the same Religion.
Christianity, Buddhism, etc.
That's one of the best ways to maintain ties within your family.

My future family, relies on ME, ME, ME!

Humanity
Hey, welcome to my blog.
There's nothing much I could write here.
But you could share your views with me.
Maybe you could change mine, and vice versa.
I hope that I could maintain Humanity within my peers.
And my peers could do that to his/her peers, and so on.
For one word that I wish the world for is....
Peace
